1. What are tarot and oracle cards?

Typically, tarot decks include the same 78 cards with different illustrations or themes. Oracle decks can have any number of cards with a variety of themes and messages.

I use a variety of both types of decks in my readings unless you have a preference between the two.

2. What is a reading from you like?

I’m an intuitive card reader, so I base my readings off of the cards that come up and whatever comes through my intuition as well. I might use more than one deck during your reading depending on the type of reading and what questions you have for me.

When you book a reading with me, you’ll fill out a form with what you’re looking to get out of the reading with me. You can choose between getting a pre-recorded reading emailed right to you or scheduling a live Zoom call. Either way, the format of my readings is the same.

I will use one deck at a time and shuffle to see whatever cards fall out for you. I’ll talk through each of the cards, and then after the reading, I’ll send you an email with a photo of the cards that came up for you and a short description of what we talked about.

3. How do I know which reading is right for me?

If you’re looking for guidance or want some clarity, a virtual card reading can be a really helpful tool! You don’t have to believe in tarot cards or magic or any of that; all I ask is that you keep an open mind and be open to whatever messages come up.

Here’s a quick guide to the readings I currently offer:

  • My monthly membership is perfect if you want to have two check-ins with me per month to help you focus on working toward your goals.

  • My 15-minute reading is perfect if you want quick guidance or clarity on something that’s been on your mind.

  • My 30-minute reading is perfect if you really want to get guidance on several questions or topics. This is my most popular option!

  • My 60-minute reading is perfect if you want to connect even deeper over a longer period of time together.

4. How do I know if you’re the right person to do a reading for me?

That’s a very important question that only you can answer! I feel like by hopping on my site, you’re at least intrigued by what I’m saying, so that’s a good first step! 5. How do I know what to ask in a reading?

Whether you’re looking for guidance on a specific question or you have no idea what to ask, that’s perfectly fine! Some people want guidance on certain topics or areas of their lives, and others are looking for general guidance on whatever comes up during the reading. You can give me as much or little information as you’re comfortable with, and I’ll go from there.

Also, anything that we say to each other over email or during the reading is completely confidential and stays between the two of us.

6. How long will it take to receive a reading once I book it?

If you book a live Zoom reading, you schedule whatever time works best for you.

If you book a pre-recorded reading, I’ll get everything over to you within four days of purchase.

7. If I get a reading, does that mean I could start getting haunted or anything like that?

I’ve gotten this question a few times, and I totally get it, but no, not at all! My readings focus on just the cards and my intuition, nothing else.

8. What if I get the Death or Devil card in the reading? Aren't they really bad?

I don’t think there are any truly evil or negative cards in tarot or oracle decks. To me, the Death card symbolizes a death and rebirth of something in your life, and the Devil is a reminder to not give in to materialism and our vices.

Both of those might not seem like the most fun cards to get in a reading, but I believe all cards can serve as reminders in our lives. I’ve gotten both of those cards multiple times in my own personal readings, and I’ve welcomed them because they reminded me that where I am in my journey right now doesn’t define where I will always be.

9. What if I don’t like what the cards or you have to say?

That’s completely fair to ask! In the past, when people have been unhappy with things I’ve said in readings, it’s usually because they’re not ready to do the work and confront some of their own biases or problems in their lives. I’m being honest about it because I’ve been in that same spot myself many times.

All I ask is that you have an open mind and be receptive to whatever comes through via the cards and my intuition. My main goal is to blend self-love with spirituality to give you the guidance you need with the empathy you deserve, so I bring that energy with me in every single reading that I do.
